Selah's First State Playoff Victory Since '83

November 10th, First round state playoff game between the Selah Vikings and Black Hills Wolves. The Vikings have had one of the best starts in school history in awhile having a record of 8 wins and 0 losses. CWAC offensive player of the year Zak Donato has had an amazing year on both sides of the ball being All-State 1st team QB and SS. QB Zak Donato completed 30 passes for 36 attempts for 322 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. This season, Donato has been precise. Completing 127 passes for 199 attempts having 1,891 yards passing with 28 passing touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Junior WR Maleek Morfin also had an amazing game helping the Viks to their first State Playoff victory since ‘83, Catching 10 passes for 161 yards with two touchdowns. Junior WR Cameron Ditter before being taken out of the game with a leg bruise, he had caught 6 passes for 91 yards and 1 touchdown. Junior RB Jake Weber had caught the ball 6 times gaining 35 yards and catching 1 touchdown also an interception for a touchdown. The Vikings won the game 35-0. Vikings play West Valley Spokane Saturday November 18th 5:00 At Ike.
